out in my mind, especially given that Mr. Khan was quieter than the average student.
In particular, Mr. Khan asked questions that related the biology to other scholastic
subjects (such as chemistry) and to items he had read in the newspaper or magazines.
This indicated to me a creative, intelligent mind that deserved to be both challenged and
